Versatile & Budget Friendly!
Perfect for the DIY bride, Recycled Botany Kraft is a very versatile card colour to work with and its great for the budget! Easily styled to suit your theme or colours. See some of our styling tips below.
Team it up with:
Lace & Wood for the rustic look. Add some jute twine or linen ribbon to complete the look. Hand stamping, handmade tags and linen trims also work well with this look.
Lace & Satin will give the vintage & rustic feel but with added elegance. Add satin ribbons in neutral colours like ivory & white or add a touch of colour by choosing a coloured ribbon. For that something a little bit extra special add a fabric flower or even pearls & diamantes.
Colour also works well with the neutral recycled background. We've matched it up with graphite and lavender card stocks, added some matching bakers twine and of course our WHITE ink printing for a completly different look. Don't be afraid to use colour, try and stick to 2 or 3 though and try layering them for a subtle look.
Black & White has to be my favourite. WHITE ink on black card or stickers (with a well chosen font) can look very smart. Team it up with the recycled kraft pockets, envelopes, favour boxes etc and tie with some natural jute for that rustic look.
Beach Wedding? The natural setting of the beach just lends itself to the recycled Botany Card. Starfish, shells, jute and twine are perfect matches with this card. Team it up with a creamy textured card that represents the the colour of sand and away you go! Add a touch of colour by layering a coloured card with your creamy card.

One printer opens up a whole new dimension in design options for wedding invitations and stationery...
Ever wanted to create that chalkboard look for your invitations? Previously is was almost impossible for in house printers to acheive the look of chalk on a blackboard. Now the almost impossible has become not only possible but it has opened up previoulsy unheard of colour combinations and design options.
Introducing the new addition to our printer family, the OKI711WT, a printer that prints in white! And not just white on black but white on any dark or bright coloured stationery you choose...
I’d been asked a few times for white ink on invitations, so when I heard about an in-house printer that could print in white I had to know more. I waited patiently for some samples to arrive and when they did I fell in love and had to have one!
There are some limitations with the printer, because you have a white toner, you don’t have a black toner like a regular Laser. Black is made up of Cyan, Magenta and Yellow, which on some stocks can actually look like a very dark chocolate. Yes you can’t get a true black print but I actually like the dark chocolate colour print and am happy to work this colour ink into my designs. If I need a true black I have another printer for that.
Another limitation is White & Colour Print – No can do. Quite simply its just not an option on this machine. Because of the way the toners are set up and the way you print with white its just not a possibility with this machine.
As far as what you can print on, I’ve tried many different types of card (I mostly use cards over paper). Anything from matt, metallic, kraft, textured, recycled and envelopes and I have had some fantastic results. I find the white ink works best on darker or vibrant coloured stocks whilst the colour printing is good quality and works well on a variety of stocks too.
So with all this in mind we've been busy trying out new combinations and it has opened up a whole new dimension to our invite range. See our latest creations here in our White Ink Collections or ask as to create something special for you!
